'Then we talked to a couple of bands, such as the Avengers, who were very popular at that time. I had gotten to know them with the Screamers because we played at the Mabuhay Gardens in San Francisco a couple of times with them, and they seemed to be real kindred spirits. So we arranged for them to come down to Hollywood and we recorded an EP of theirs at a recording studio that Pat pulled out of the LA Weekly, called the Kitchen Sync. And most of our recordings were to be done there over the years. The Avengers was the most popular Dangerhouse release'.
