English Spanish

An unsuccessful singer in her native France, where she released three singles on the Barclays label, Claudine Coppin ended up settling in Spain from 1967 onwards, where her daring demeanour, her particular Spanish accent and the exotic look of her blonde hair had a big impact on the ye-yé scene at the time. She had diverse and convincing arguments: Kinks, Beatles and Marilyn Monroe covers.
