A successful Argentinian trio which specialized in forgettable 70s South American mainstream, two events marked the career of these incredibly blonde sisters and ended up changing their professional lives: the second one took place in 1978, when they caught Julio Iglesias’ attention and she brought them over to Spain and incorporated them into his orchestra as female backing vocalists, performing non-stop around the world. Clearly, we are more fond of the first event, which is the recording the otherworldly ‘Pochoclo’, a brilliantly sung version of the instrumental synth-pop classic ‘Popcorn’ by Gerson Kingsley.
