2017’s Record Store Day will be celebrated on April 22nd and this year we are taking part with three special releases. On Vampisoul, Alfonso Noel Lovo’s ultra-rare album “Terremoto Richter 6:25 - Managua”. Recorded in New Orleans in 1973 with the help of local players and musicians from Nicaragua, Colombia and Panama, Lovo laid down an astounding mix of psychedelic rock, mazurka, jazz, Louisiana blues and African folk. On Munster we present “Cabinet Of Curios”, the first ever career-spanning compilation of the solo work of Jowe Head, an essential name in the birth and development of the UK’s underground scene through his recordings with Swell Maps, Television Personalities, personal projects such as Palookas, Househunters and work under his own name. Finally, we are reissuing on Vinilísssimo the fantastic 1981 album “Vontade de rever você” by Marcos Valle, one of the essential artists of Brazilian music. Recorded in Brazil after spending the late 70s in the US, Marcos Valle brought together his innate talent and diverse influences on this irresistible record bursting with groove.
