This is their second single, released in 1978 on Greg Shaw\u2019s very own Bomp! Records (after the fantastic 1977 \u201cDon\u2019t Push Me Around\u201d single). \u2018Wild Weekend\u2019 is another boss one by Javier Escovedo and it also has Robert Lopez\u2019s fantastic \u2018Beat Your Heart Out\u2019 on the flip.<\/p>\n
These first singles recorded by the band instantly catapulted The Zeros into a top draw on the local scene and have become legendary.<\/p>\n
