SKU: MR-SSS 525  |

We are putting things right with the first ever reissue of this overlooked gem of Kim Fowley’s discography from 1973.

After a relatively calm period in terms of his own releases between the late 60s and early 70s, Kim Fowley quickly followed 1972’s “I’m Bad” with “International Heroes” the next year. Considered by many his strongest collection of songs along with “Outrageous” from 1968, this outstanding LP seems to channel Dylan through the prism of early British glam.

With a career that includes hits as producer ('Alley Oop' by The Hollywood Argyles), songwriter ('Nut Rocker' by B Bumble & The Stingers), recordings with Gene Vincent, Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers and countless others, his early management of The Runaways and plenty of glorious failures along the way, Kim Fowley has been a maverick presence in rock & roll history for over five decades.
