Alfonso Lovo laid down an astounding mix of psychedelic rock, mazurka, jazz, Louisiana blues and African folk in this obscure gem from 1973 called “Terremoto Richter 6:25”, an outstanding addition to his award-winning “La Gigantona” by this amazing artist from Nicaragua who survived the devastating 1972 earthquake and the shots of the Sandinista guerrilla… One for those into the Latin psychedelic sounds of Santana or Malo.
Vytas Brenner and his band created an amazing body of work during the 70s and early 80s, incorporating traditional Venezuelan sounds and Latin American rhythms into a progressive rock setting. “La ofrenda de Vytas” was their first album and stands as a masterpiece of Venezuelan symphonic folk music.
Both albums can now be yours for just 20€!
