Limited edition 7″ by Emil Viklický, one of the most renowned Czech jazz musicians and composers. Although famous as a pianist and composer, Emil Viklický’s work as arranger is less well known. From his own vault come these two tunes, recorded with a studio big band: while ‘Hromovka’ (‘Thunderhouse’) from 1979 already appeared on our “Funky Way of Emil Viklický” compilation (VAMPI 115), ‘Pochod Zlochu’ (‘Parade Of The Badboys’) is a recently discovered and previously unreleased piece of heavy jazz-funk from 1986, available exclusively on this seven inch.
