Javier Teixidor (Madrid, 1960), cantante, compositor y guitarrista de la J. Teixi Band, ha sido testigo y coprotagonista de la evolución del rock español desde finales de los setenta (primero, al frente de Mermelada). La pasión por la música negra, por el soul y los viejos maestros del blues, le viene de su árbol genealógico ya que parte de su familia es de Puerto Rico.
